Simba is Mufasa's son and the rightful heir to the throne of Pride Rock.
Appearance[]
When Simba was a cub, he had the atypical appearance of other lion cubs. However, his facial features and mane were significantly less developed. His canines and whiskers are also less prominent than that of his adult form. Simba also has tawny brown fur like his mother. However, when Simba grows older, he attains a bright red mane, similar to that of his father's.
Personality[]
As a young cub, Simba had a very playful attitude to life around Pride Rock, in which he would often show off to Nala as a means of exhibiting his bravery. However, Simba was dealt an incredible reality check when Mufasa died seemingly at his hands, and left to live a solitary life. When doing so, he met Timone and Pumbaa, who taught him to be more carefree in life, with the philosophy, Hakuna Matata or no worries. However, when he returns back to the Pride Lands, Simba is forced to discard his carefree nature when dealing with Scar and the hyenas.
